I have to admit: I was so thrilled when I asked this family to allow me to do a lifestyle session with them at home and they agreed. It has been one of my favorite sessions and I plan on doing more like these in the future.
Children especially seem to be so much more relaxed at home. Everything is familiar to them. As parents, we may see the everyday going-ons as mundane, but there are hidden gems throughout the day that we eventually come to miss as children grow older: routines, favorites, toys, games, inside jokes, traditions, and so much more evolve as time passes.
Therefore, I love to really capture the "realness" of life in lifestyle sessions.
